Preview: Emma & Sam’s Beautiful Langham Wedding

By

We’ve just returned from photographing a very special wedding, the union of Emma and Sam. This wonderful couple married at the New West End Synagogue in St. Petersburgh Place, central London. It’s truly one of the most beautiful synagogues in Europe, only the second synagogue to achieve Grade 1 listed status and has been described by English Heritage as “the architectural high watermark of Anglo-Jewish architecture”.

Following a beautiful service, the guests boarded coaches bound for one of London’s prime locations. Founded in 1865, The Langham is one of the ‘Leading Hotels of the World’, set in a wonderful location in the West End, with a restaurant in which both Albert Roux and Michel Roux Jr. cook up delights, and of course, a wonderful ballroom in which to celebrate a wedding. Many thanks to the team at The Langham for being so great to work with on the day.

The evening celebrations were truly wonderful, with music provided by the fantastic Metropolis – a dynamic band full of top musicians who made sure the aural entertainment was absolutely first class from the very first beat to the very last.
