Lord Sugar: Property Breakfast at The Dorchester
ByWe work regularly with many charities, our images helping to raise the profile of the charity in the media, and ultimately assisting in raising more funds for great causes. It’s always an honour to be involved in photographing events for Jewish Care, a quite magnificent organisation which goes way beyond the call of duty for those in need. Their events range from small internal affairs all over the UK, to lavish fundraising gatherings at London’s most prestigious venues – in this instance, The Dorchester on Park Lane. This was the second year running we’ve photographed the Property Breakfast featuring Lord Alan Sugar, well known entrepreneur and top man in the BBC’s ‘The Apprentice’.
The breakfast is attended by hundreds of prominent businessmen, mostly involved in property, and starts early enough that everyone can be at their desk for a full day of work after eating fine food by top caterers Tony Page, and hearing the extremely honest thoughts of the outspoken Lord Sugar. This particular event featured a Question and Answer session Chaired by Claudine Collins, Managing Director of MediaCom, so attendees had an opportunity to address Lord Sugar personally, and gain forthright answers to their questions.
All money raised went to the crucial work of Jewish Care, helping the most vulnerable members of our society. The raffle was drawn by Lord Sugar, one of the prizes was a football boot signed by the great Lionel Messi… I must admit, we’re a little jealous of the winner!
