With the Jewish Care Campaign Dinner 2013 rapidly approaching, I thought it was fitting to write a short blog about last year’s event. We were honoured to be official photographers for the Campaign Dinner for the first time in 2012.
The event was held in London’s biggest grand ballroom, in the beautiful Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane. There were over 1000 guests present, which is testament to the excellent work Jewish Care carry out and the amount of lives they touch positively on a daily basis. The event featured the inimitable Sir David Frost OBE as guest speaker, whilst musical entertainment was provided by national treasure Gary Barlow OBE, everyone present enjoyed a memorable evening.
Those in attendance combined to raise £3.9 million for the vital work Jewish Care carries out helping the most vulnerable members of society in a truly caring and personal manner. My evening ended in Gary Barlow’s hotel room, taking photos of the Take That frontman with various VIPs… much to the annoyance of numerous female friends who could only utter jealous murmurings having heard about my evening!
Special mentions must go to all the people who made the event a huge success, including the Campaign Dinner Committee and Jewish Care’s event staff, also to Investec Bank for sponsoring a great evening. We are privileged to work with Jewish Care, to find out more about the work they do, visit http://www.jewishcare.org
Here are a few of our favourite photos from the night…
