Tasty Treats: Jewish Care’s Inaugural Great Bake Day
ByWe’ve been honoured to be involved in Jewish Care’s inaugural Great Bake Day this year – from creating the initial publicity images in our studio, Elstree Photo Studios, to our team photographing the day as it unfolded in four of the many locations… whilst snacking on some yummy treats too, all in the name of charity and welfare of course 😉
Jewish Care is an incredible organisation, always striving to find new ways to push forward both in terms of providing the best possible care for their clients, and in raising funds in order to provide that care. The Great Bake Day saw many events held and we were lucky enough to eat cake, I mean, photograph events all over north London.
Notable moments included:
- Residents, staff and volunteers calling passers-by in from the street to buy homemade sweet treats at Ella and Ridley Jacobs House in Hendon.
- The Jewish Princesses running baking activities at Sam Beckman House, a day-care centre for dementia sufferers.
- Simon Morris, CEO of Jewish Care, admirably tasting EVERY entry at a departmental staff Bake Off at HQ in Golders Green.
Here is a small selection of our favourite images…
