Preview: Tracey and Dave’s Irish Jewish English WeddingBy
What a day we had up at The Mere in Knutsford, celebrating the wedding of two brilliant people, Tracey and Dave. It seemed like most of the Manchester and Dublin Jewish communities had descended upon this prestigious venue in the Cheshire countryside to dance, smile, jig, and drink the night away.
Tracey and Dave are awesome, and we’ve been excited to shoot this wedding ever since meeting up with them at the start of the year. We’ve rarely been to a wedding where the bride and groom, and their families, have all been so relaxed and up for a laugh. In fact when Dave ceremoniously smashed the glass under the Chuppah, signifying that the couple were indeed married, Tracey’s dad John instantly turned around to me and said “I don’t think there was a glass in there – it was far too easy!”
The celebrations lived up to the hype, with the amazing band Metropolis playing a mix of pop music, high energy Jewish party tunes, and an Irish set too – complete with fiddle player and an Irish lass on vocals… a truly bespoke set list. It was also a true pleasure to work alongside Sara and Tony of Marry Me Films, themselves a married couple who were unobtrusive, relaxed, fun and truly professional all day. We can’t wait to see the video!
With so many amazing moments and so many great shots, it was tricky to know what to send to Tracey and Dave as preview images, but here’s our little selection, we hope you enjoy them…
Great set of images, Tracey & David must be thrilled. We particularly love the corridor shot. Honestly it was a real pleasure working with you too! Sx
It was a wonderful wedding Trace and Dave. Really, really disappointed we had to leave early. You both looked absolutely gorgeous, and so happy (once the most nerve wracking bit was over anyway Dave!) These pictures are fantastic tooo! xxx
