On Saturday we were privileged to work with Orchid Events, photographing the incredible wedding of Alex and George at Ravens Ait Island, Kingston-upon-Thames. The special couple had been together for many years, with an amazingly close group of friends all up for a massive party on this small island in the middle of the River Thames.

Our day started off with Alex, as she got ready for the day ahead surrounded by her mum and bridesmaids at a nearby hotel, then it was over to Ravens Ait to see George with his boys. Before we knew it, after a gorgeous ceremony, some confetti-cannon fun, tear-jerking speeches, an amazingly choreographed first dance, some seriously old-school UK garage tunes and a Drum ‘n’ Bass set, Alex and George sailed away up the river to their hotel. Rest assured, our full blog post will show all the amazing details that made this such a unique wedding.

The music for the evening, which kept everyone going mad on the dance-floor all night, was a DJ, saxophone and percussion trio provided by Music By Arrangement. Thanks also to Maria from Orchid Events for being so great to work with on the day! Also massive thanks to the huge group of hardcore ravers, led by Alex and George, who kept partying from the first dance to the last.
