Yesterday saw Laura and Mark get married in a highly emotional ceremony at the Royal Majestic in Willesden, north London. It was an extremely special day for everyone involved, with close friends and family coming together to shower this special couple with love. I’ve known Laura and Mark for a while, both through friends and also through our work for UJIA, so I was thoroughly privileged to be involved in their wedding day – especially since we ventured into a Hertfordshire field for their Engagement Shoot.

For us, lots of familiar faces made this such a welcoming, friendly, and enjoyable occasion. These included Rabbi Marc Levene, an old friend with a truly remarkable voice, who sung Laura and Mark down the aisle towards the Chuppah.

It was wonderful as always to party with Creation DJ Live and all the crew, who made sure that the party was banging all night. Their DJ Live setup involved loads of crowd participation, but this was the first time we’ve ever seen a drummer put his entire drum kit on the dance floor and rock out with the Bride! I think we can all agree that Laura has great rhythm!

Video on the day was provided by the amazingly talented, unobtrusive and smiley Charlotte Armitage, who is always so great to work with. It’s enjoyable working alongside other creative suppliers who share an ethos, values and style. We look forward to working with her again at weddings in 2014. Thanks must also go to consummate Toastmaster Simon Green, who made totally sure that everyone knew exactly what was going on and when. Simon is a real character, and had guests in hysterics on a number of occasions with some brief witty interludes between speeches.
