On Monday night our team were privileged to photograph the World Jewish Relief Annual Dinner at the magnificent Guildhall in the City of London. Two of our Associate Photographers were on site, Steph and Andy, making sure this memorable evening was fully captured on camera.
WJR is a UK based international Jewish charity, committed to meeting the needs of individuals and communities living in poverty, assisting them in the transformation of their lives and livelihoods. Last year, WJR supported programmes addressing the needs of vulnerable communities in 20 countries through 73 programmes across the globe, reaching a remarkable 59,908 individuals. WJR and Blake Ezra Photography go a long way back, as Blake visited Ukraine with the organisation in 2007, to see the incredible work they carry out, first hand.
Please note that WJR are currently raising emergency funds for those affected by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. To donate, please click HERE.
Amongst the large number of guests on the evening, there were many notable dignitaries in attendance, including numerous Holocaust survivors, Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis, and Henry Grunwald QC. We hope that the event was hugely successful in raising vital funds for the work World Jewish Relief undertake around the world, and look forward to the next event we’ll photograph for this inspirational organisation.
