Yesterday our team were back at The Savoy for the JAMI Dinner 2013. JAMI stands for the Jewish Association for the Mentally Ill. It is a magnificent organisation which is committed to supporting people to fulfil their individual potential, maximising their self-esteem and progress along their own unique path towards recovery.
The evening saw around 200 guests enjoy a wonderful dinner in the ballroom, whilst hearing about the incredible work carried out by JAMI, from those who represent the organisation, and most pertinently from those who have benefitted from it. The guest speaker was ‘The Speaker’, in this case the Speaker of the House of Commons, John Bercow MP, who we have been privileged to work with on many occasions. He spoke passionately about the need to open up dialogue about mental illness, and for everybody to wholeheartedly support those affected by it. We look forward to working with JAMI again in the future and wish them every success in the vital work they carry out.
