A True Lifeline: Chai Cancer Care Annual Dinner
ByLast night our team were involved in a wonderful evening at The Lancaster London, all for a truly inspirational organisation… Chai Cancer Care. This was our first time photographing an event for Chai, who provide comprehensive, professional and expert services to any member of the Jewish community affected by cancer – patients, their families and friends. It really is a unique organisation, which we are proud to support.
On hand in our team were Blake, Steph and Emma, taking a mix of photographs from line-up groups to atmospheric images inside the ballroom, which organisers, donors and guests can remember the evening by. Part of the evening included the showing of a short film which really highlights why Chai Cancer Care is such a deserving cause, we would urge you to watch it by clicking HERE if you have a spare moment or two. We hope this encouraged many guests to give generously, and to continue supporting Chai into the future.
Amazing entertainment was provided by Jon Lee (formerly of S Club 7) and the cast of hit show Jersey Boys who performed a few classic numbers which were enjoyed by all present, bringing many guests to their feet – singing along to such hits as “Sherry” and “Beggin”.
It was our pleasure to work alongside Toastmaster David Collins for the second time in a week, a man who always ensures that the event will run smoothly, whilst keeping everybody behind the scenes fully informed. David has officiated at over 250 Royal events, including HM Queen’s 80th Birthday Luncheon, and State events including Freedom of The City of London with Nelson Mandela. Also making things tick behind the scenes were our good friends from Muzika, who provided incredible production and lighting for the evening.
Here are some of our favourite images from an outstanding event for a very worthwhile cause…
