PREVIEW: JO AND RICHARD’S INCREDIBLE LONDON WEDDING
ByOn Sunday our team were out in full force, for the absolutely stunning London wedding of Jo and Richard. We started off in each family home, as the Bride and Groom got ready for the day ahead. Then it was off to the very beautiful New West End Synagogue in St. Petersburg Place for the wedding ceremony, followed by an epic evening of celebration at iconic London establishment, The Dorchester, on Park Lane.
The ceremony was very beautiful, officiated by Rabbi Hackenbroch and with Chazanut from the one and only Avromi Freilich. Being witness to Jo and Richard standing under the Chuppah, constantly looking towards one another, was truly amazing. In attendance were not only the Bride and Groom’s parents and siblings, but four grandmothers all looking on proudly, quite a unique occurrence and we’re sure they had the most wonderful day.
Guests were entertained through the evening not only by some hysterical speeches, but by talismanic vocalist Fil Straughan and Strong Sensation, who amongst other things played an outrageous UK Garage set including ‘Re-Rewind’. Selecta. Many of Jo and Richard’s friends instantly switched from ‘wedding guest’ to ‘MC Creed’, as did a few of our team behind their cameras. Doing their thing in the corner of this most opulent ballroom were our good friends from Fantasy Imaging, taking crazy pictures of guests pulling their best poses! Not only that, but the man known by many as ‘Mr. Fantasy Imaging’, real name Richard, was also the co-Toastmaster for the evening, alongside his cousin, aptly also called Richard.
It was great to see so many familiar faces, including no less than three couples whose weddings we’ve also been honoured to photograph over the last couple of years. Well done to our team on the day, which included Blake, Charlotte, Emma and Steph. We must thank Nikki and everyone from Tony Page for making sure we were all fed and watered throughout the evening! It was also a great pleasure to work with the team from Galaxy Video again.
We wish Jo and Richard a lifetime of happiness together. It’s very difficult to know which images to include in a small preview selection, as there are so many to choose from, but here are a few of our favourites…
