On Sunday our team were in north London, to photograph the gorgeous wedding of Galia and James. Galia is originally from South Africa, James from London – so this was a truly international affair, with guests flying in from all around the world. Having known James for a very long time, it was such a pleasure to be involved in photographing his wedding day, and seeing him so madly in love with the beautiful Galia was a joy for everyone to see.

Our day started (and ended) at the Laura Ashley Manor Hotel in Elstree, in the morning to photograph Galia getting ready for the day ahead and then again late at night to do a few portraits with the newlyweds. The ceremony and party took place at Mill Hill Synagogue – we are reliably informed that this was the first wedding party to take place in the new hall, what an honour! What a day… it was somehow heartfelt, emotional, joyous, meaningful, serious and hysterical all at once.

On hand from our team were Blake, Steph and Charlotte, and it was a great pleasure to work alongside DJ Shai Gat. We wish Galia and James the most beautiful life together. Here are a few of our favourite shots from the day…
