On Sunday our team had the opportunity to photograph Jen and Paul’s absolutely beautiful country-themed wedding, at the gorgeous Northbrook Park in Surrey. The sun defiantly shone all day, with it being one of the hottest days this year. You couldn’t wish for a more beautiful setting in which to get married… or photograph a wedding! Northbrook Park is truly beautiful, with peacocks roaming around walled gardens and rustic charm wherever you look. 

Our associate photographer, Steph, was assisted by one of our talented apprentices, Emma, as well as the lovely Tammy who was working with the Blake Ezra Photography team for the very first time. Steph, having met with Jen and Paul to do their Engagement Shoot and visit the venue a couple of months back, knew how laid back this awesome couple were and couldn’t wait to photograph their big day.

The morning began in a very relaxed way, with the Jen and her bridesmaids getting ready in one of the hotel’s picturesque cottages. There was time for hair, make up, champagne, exercises and even a lovely practice song from the Bride-To-Be. Soon enough Paul had arrived at the venue, the car was ready to pick Jen and the Bridesmaids up and escort them to the ceremony room, but not before a short Bedeken in which Jen and Paul exchanged gifts. The ceremony was truly beautiful, and in a wonderful setting too.

Master of Ceremonies, a good friend of Jen and Paul and of Blake Ezra Photography, the one and only Josh, announced Husband and Wife into the Orangery where the evening kicked off to a fantastic start. Guests were entertained all evening by the incredible band, Oomphf, as well as speeches from two bridesmaids, a surprise song and dance from friends, a hilarious ‘7 Shins’ themed speech by the two best men followed by beautiful song from Paul himself.

The day ran smoothly thanks to event manager Keely Durrant. It really was romantic, fun, emotional, relaxed, joyful and unquestionably happy from beginning to end. With three photographers and so many gorgeous moments, it was always going to be tricky to choose which shots to put into a preview, but at first glance, here are a few of our favourite shots…
