On Monday evening our team were privileged to photograph the annual UK Israel Business Awards Dinner, held this year at the wonderful Millennium Mayfair Hotel in London’s Grosvenor Square. This was the third time that we have been the official photographers for this prestigious happening. It is the pinnacle of the year for UK Israel Business, for whom we also cover many other more intimate events, such Business Breakfasts with Sir Winfried Bischoff, Ann Cairns and Gemma Godfrey or Ross McEwan, and Israel Opportunity Conferences. It was lovely to see many of our recent images featured on the big screens in the room, and also in the event brochure (shown below).

Blake and Emma were on hand to provide photography, our brief being to ensure there are strong images of all the events on stage, as well as a few posed pictures through the reception and general atmospheric shots which can be used in future marketing materials. We also always attempt to identify key individuals for whichever organisation we are commissioned by, and over the last few years have gotten to know the Israeli and Jewish communities of the UK very well indeed.

Guests of Honour included Isaac Herzog MK, the Leader of the Opposition in the Israeli Knesset, Ambassadors Daniel Taub and Matthew Gould, Honorary President of UK Israel Business Sir Trevor Chinn, and of course Lord David Young of Graffham, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award. Other attendees included companies and individuals at the core of trade between the UK and Israel as well as a number of MP’s and distinguished guests.

Congratulations must go to the Awards Winners on the night… Arup; Plus500 and eToro. It was a pleasure as always working with magnificent caterers Zeitlin and Co, who not only treat guests to the finest food but also make sure that all the many staff behind the scenes are well fed and watered! Ensuring that events went as smoothly as possible, in his uber-professional way, was top toastmaster Steven Warwick.
