It’s very rare that we populate an entire blog post exclusively with black and white images, despite providing many colourless shots from every photography commission. In fact, it’s so rare that it’s never happened, until now.

Sheera and Tom were married earlier this year, in a truly unique and beautiful celebration in Corfu. Having created a small selection of monochrome images from their full edit, we simply had to share them. Many people love black and white photography, some love it so much that they believe converting any image into black and white suddenly increases it’s aesthetic quality. For us, this isn’t true, it has to be the right shot. There needs to be a balance of light and dark, or a powerful moment for which taking away any colour simply removes distraction and allows the viewer to feel the unadulterated emotion.
