A Great Gathering: UJIA Annual Dinner 2015
ByYesterday evening our team of Amanda, Blake and Zach were privileged to be amongst a room of charitable and caring individuals supporting UJIA at their Annual Dinner. This wasn’t just any room, it was The Great Room at Grosvenor House Hotel, a home from home for us, and plenty of extremely distinguished guests were in attendance, including keynote speaker David Horowitz.
David is formerly the Managing Editor of Jerusalem Post, and is the Founding Editor of fantastic news source, The Times of Israel. He spoke intelligently and insightfully about numerous issues affecting Israel and the Jewish world. Incidentally, he was also Blake Ezra’s first ever newspaper editor, as Blake was Sports Photographer at The Jerusalem Post in 2005-2006. Also taking the stage were a group of Israeli scouts who sang and performed four well known songs to the delight of those present.
UJIA changes lives by investing in young people in Israel and in the British Jewish community. In the under-resourced Galil region they create new educational and employment opportunities through schools, colleges and community projects. In the UK UJIA underpins the ladder of Jewish and Israel engagement, by supporting youth movements and organisations, schools and educational programmes in Israel.
It is an honour for us to work with UJIA, and a lovely bonus that there were so many of our clients and friends in the room, all there for a great cause. Here are a few of our favourite images from an incredible evening:
