Festival of Aish: Chanukah Party at The Montcalm
ByOver the weekend one of our top photographers, Amanda, was privileged to cover an amazing Chanukah party hosted by our good friends at Aish along with Western Marble Arch Synagogue, held at The Montcalm in London’s Marble Arch. Chanukah is known as the Festival of Light, and in many ways Aish, whose core values focus on inspiring and invigorating a renewed sense of passion for Judaism, is a shining light in the Jewish community of the UK.
The party was as vibrant as we knew it would be, with a ceremonial candle lighting carried out by Holocaust survivor Solly Irving, amazing custom cocktails, ‘Spin To Win’ dreidel games, music by Klezmer House mashup band Ghetto Plotz, and 700 young people having a great time until the late hours. Big thanks go to Cassie, Moshe, and everyone at Aish for having us.
Here are a few of our favourite images from a great night. Until next year…
