Following on from the incredible Sagai and Sanjee, the party continued with a massive Mendhi and Henna party for Tulsi and Sagar. The marquee had been transformed, this time into ‘Sagar and Tulsi’s Circus’ complete with a Bangle Station, amazing food stalls, Henna area, and great decorations down to the smallest detail.
Those touches were all chosen and sourced by this very unique Bride and Groom, indeed if you’re wondering who is the guy working hard to set the marquee up just before guests arrive, the one who looks very similar to Sagar the Groom… it was him – carrying equipment and gaffer tape around when our team showed up! We were told there’d be a few dances through the evening, but we never expected the energy, the magnitude, the choreography that was on show – this was a serious production. Later on in the evening, the ‘dance-offs continued’, Tulsi vs. Sagar, Shahs vs. Pindolias, Other Drunk Individuals vs. Other Drunk Individuals, with crowds wholeheartedly chanting their support for one or the other. This was EPIC.
Guests partied the night away to some massive turns played by the ludicrously cool DJ Manny of Kudos Music, described as one of the most comprehensive and developed new talents to grace the entertainment industry, and drunk awesome cocktails at a custom bar from the one and only Liquid Chefs. The brilliant team from Kadiris were on hand, serving up incredible Nitro Ice Cream along with many other treats.
The biggest surprise of the evening was that Tulsi and Sagar had formed the guest list based upon their actual family and friends, not simply the best 300 dancers they could find – the dancing was spectacular! Next up, the Hindu Wedding. In the meantime, here are a few of our favourite images:
