Valentine’s Love: Suzi and Jamie at The Langham
ByOn Valentine’s Day our team were delighted to be photographing a gorgeous, loving and fun occasion, as Suzie and Jamie were married at The Langham in London’s West End. Amanda, Blake and Leela were on the scene to ensure every moment of this wonderful day was captured beautifully.
With both Bride and Groom being massive Arsenal fans, Danny Welbeck’s last minute winner against Leicester City about two hours before the ceremony was a timely return from injury, we’re convinced he put in a little extra effort to score, knowing the context of what was happening a couple of miles up the road on Portland Place.
The day itself was so full of energy, love, emotion, and hilarity. The ceremony was conducted beautifully by our friend the very eloquent Rabbi Dr. Michael Harris of Hampstead Synagogue. It was followed by a brilliant evening, with guests being treated to music from One Entertainment. Magnificent cuisine was served in abundance by Jason Millan and his excellent team. The day was planned to perfection and run behind the scenes by the one and only Katy Cresner, whilst the man with a voice as warm as his smile, Steve Warwick, was on the microphone throughout the evening along with Suzi’s brother Daniel.
We knew from seeing Suzi and Jamie dancing at previous weddings we had photographed, that this was going to be an awesome party, and indeed it was lovely for us to see so many friends and clients, having such a great time. From Jamie being thrown through the air, to poetic speeches, from limbo dancing to on-stage sing-a-longs, the celebration was full throttle, with a wonderful Bride and Groom at the centre of it all. Our day ended after the wedding by going for a walk up to Oxford Circus with Suzi and Jamie to do a few late night shots – it was freezing cold but they braved the elements for some very special portraits.
Mazal Tov again to Suzi and Jamie and both families. Here are some of our favourite images from a beautiful day…
