Last night our team of Amanda, Blake, James, Leela and Sophie were at the magnificent Grosvenor House Hotel, our home-from-home in Mayfair, to photograph the prestigious Jewish Care Campaign Dinner for the fifth year running. It is such an privilege for us to have been the exclusive and official photographers of this massive event, to be entrusted to cover it faithfully and of course to produce masses of beautiful images of honoured guests. Well done to Campaign Dinner Chairperson, the enigmatic Nicola Loftus, and everybody involved in putting together such a beautiful event.

The guest speaker this year was none other than the Prime Minister, David Cameron, who despite heavily campaigning in the Brexit referendum in only two days time, told guests that he would never have missed his date with Jewish Care. Starting off his speech by declaring “I Love You” to those present and Jewish Care as an organisation, he clearly recognises the incredible work this charity carries out every single day, the epitome of his ‘Big Society’. Entertainment for the evening was provided by the beautiful Leona Lewis, who thrilled guests with some of her own songs and some beautiful covers too, dedicating her piece ‘Thank You’ to the staff and volunteers of Jewish Care.

Of course the Campaign Dinner is a wonderful event, raising essential funds for those who need it, but we are also lucky to have spent lots of time in Jewish Care facilities, documenting clients and carers, classes and cafes. We would urge anyone to go on a tour of the Jewish Care campuses and be prepared to be blown away by the levels of care, attention, comfort, thoughtfulness, and medical expertise they provide. It is truly inspiring.

Back to yesterday, it was a delight for us to see so many friends and clients in the room, both from other organisations we work with but also private clients who have allowed us to share in their family’s landmark occasions. Jewish Care is indeed one big family and we are grateful to be part of it. This landmark event was put together amazingly by the team at Dream Events, whilst naturally guests were looked after with wonderful hospitality by the meticulous team at Tony Page.
