Inaugural Dinner: The Strength of Chazak
ByYesterday evening our team of Amanda and Blake were honoured to photograph the inaugural dinner of Chazak, held at ‘London’s most central venue’, the beautiful 8 Northumberland. In years to come when Chazak has become a long-established institution, guests will look back on this evening as a truly landmark event.
This was a truly incredible evening, a stylish young crowd gathered to hear wise words, enjoy fine food, drink carefully selected whisky, listen to awe-inspiring music, and be together to further their community; to celebrate their heritage. Chazak is a new organisation with whom we are proud to work. They operate alongside existing communities and organisations in order to further inspire young British Jews of Sephardic descent with a pride and commitment to their culture, heritage and continuity. Chazak was established by the enigmatic Rabbi Shlomo Farhi and Rabbi Moshe Levy to bring a fresh approach to education and social programming.
Music was provided in the form of the wonderful Uziah Tzadok from Israel, whose incredible voice transports the listener on a spiritual journey. Our team came away from the event with the classic Sh’ma Yisrael massaging our ear-drums. World class cuisine was provided by Food Story, whose dishes tasted as outrageously delicious as they looked, and who served Turkish Delight from custom made leather-bound ‘Chazak’ books at the end of the evening as ‘The Final Chapter’. Seriously impressive.
It was beautiful for us to see so many friends and clients in the room, supporting such an inspiring cause. A massive well done to Hannah Flax and the whole team behind this landmark event.
