On a gorgeous summer evening Blake made his way down to the coast, to spend some quality time with Michele and Joseph, whose wedding is fast approaching. Brighton was their choice of location for a beautiful Engagement Shoot, and the weather played a beautiful role in a thoroughly enjoyable evening. We can’t wait to be with these two on their wedding day.

Before sharing some of our favourite images, a few words from Michele’s about the shoot:

“It was a scorching hot July day when Blake came all the way to Brighton for our Engagement Shoot. We decided to have it in Brighton as Joseph works and currently lives there and we love the seaside air, pebbly beach and the quirky, narrow Lanes. We went for a summery and casual look to contrast the photos we’ll be having on the big day, and wanted them to look very natural. Blake’s calm and reassuring instructions to ‘just be yourself’ helped us to achieve exactly that. We had great fun and some hilarious moments, including him phoning us with instructions from across Brighton beach whilst he photographed us from the pier, and we repeatedly jumped in the air to achieve the perfect ‘jumping photo’! We now have a collection of amazing photos that we hope to incorporate in some way on the wedding day, but also have discovered which angles and styles are our favourites so we can achieve the best pictures on the big day.”
