Supporting Great Ormond Street: Blake’s Half Marathon

In a bid to do even more to put our charity clients on the map, and raise additional funds for their incredibly deserving causes, our team have decided to undertake a series of challenges in the year ahead. Having already run his first competitive 10K race to raise money for Sha’are Tzedek Hospital in Jerusalem (pictured below), Blake will be running a Half Marathon on October 9th 2016, the Royal Parks Foundation Half, for the benefit of inspirational children’s hospital, Great Ormond Street.

“In a bid to give something back to our many clients in the charity sector, and raise funds for some truly inspirational causes, I’ve decided to do a few sponsored events this year. I’ll be running a Half Marathon in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital, which is such an amazing place.

As a parent of two young boys, my biggest concern in life is that they are healthy. Thankfully, I cannot begin to imagine the journey that many parents take when their children aren’t well… but I know that GOSH offers incredible care and unbelievable support. Hopefully through me running around London like a sweaty mess, some more essential funds can be raised for this wonderful hospital.

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity’s behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations, if you’d like to come down to London on 09th October and laugh at me as I make my way around, you’d be more than welcome.”
