On Thursday morning, Blake was in central London bright and early to photograph the annual Business Breakfast for Haven House Children’s Hospice, hosted at Simpson’s-In-The-Strand, part of The Savoy – one of London’s most iconic destinations. We are proud to work closely with this inspirational hospice throughout the year, helping to raise their profile and indeed the profile of children’s hospices in general – which as Iain Duncan Smith MP explained in his opening address, often remain somewhat under the radar when compared to hospices for older people.
This event was a fascinating one, with Lorde John Browne of Madingley (former Chief Executive of BP, and current Chairman of the Tate) being expertly interviewed by LBC’s Iain Dale (whose weekday show can often be heard at our HQ, providing thought provoking discussion for our team) in front of invited guests, who were then offered the opportunity to pose questions of their own. This was all in aid of a remarkable cause – Haven House has supported over 650 families, looking after children and young people aged from birth to 19 years old who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. Every single day, Haven House brings quality of life to those who truly need it, and supports their families with individual care and attention.
You can be a hero and donate to the Haven House Christmas Appeal HERE. There are numerous options for donations, starting from £27 for a child to receive an enjoyable sensory play experience.
Well done to the entire team from Haven House for another fantastic event. Here are a few of our favourite images…
