Being entrusted to photograph any wedding is a true honour – one which we never take for granted. Being asked to photograph the wedding of a dear colleague and friend certainly adds an extra dimension. When that person, the Bride, is one of the most respected and experienced wedding planners in the country, having meticulously planned thousands of luxury weddings over the past ten years, one realises that this is not a typical client! Kelly is currently Group Wedding Director at The Principal Hotel Company and De Vere, having previously been at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, Rosewood London and Claridge’s.

Even though, let’s be honest, the Bride is the most important person at any wedding, this wasn’t only about Kelly! Simon is a big man with a big heart and a big personality… not forgetting some crazy dance moves. Kelly and Simon are an awesome couple, fun loving but massively respectful of tradition, they each have the ability to light up a room. Our team of Amanda, Andy and Tegan were honoured to be involved in their special day, from the beautiful ceremony at St Augustine’s Church Kensington, a Grade II* listed building, to the celebrations at The Langham, one of London’s most stylish and grand venues.

Entertaining guests throughout the evening were the brilliant Gilev Showband – apart from a few minutes when Jeff the Father of the Bride took to the drums and absolutely smashed it! Making sure everything went to plan was our friend Society Toastmaster David Collins, whilst it was also a pleasure to work alongside Adrian from The Dream Catchers on the video.
