Chai Impact: Annual Dinner at The Roundhouse
ByYesterday evening our team were delighted to be back at The Roundhouse, Camden’s iconic venue, for the Chai Cancer Care Annual Dinner: ‘Impact’. Chai are a truly magnificent organisation, led by two inspirational ladies, Chairperson Louise Hager and Chief Executive Lisa Steele. They provide services for patients, their families, and friends affected by a cancer diagnosis – with a wide range of services; from therapies and complementary therapies to group activities and counselling to advisory services, as well as a medical outpatient rehabilitation and palliative care service.
On the ground from our team were Adam, Amanda, Blake, Shane, Shimon and Tegan – covering every detail of this amazing event. Our brief was not only to convey the energy of the evening and capture all the on-stage happenings, but to provide beautiful shots of guests too.
The evening began with an opening address by Joyce Misrahi, who spoke emotively about her own personal experience with Chai. A little later the appeal film, which gave an emotional account from families who have benefitted from Chai’s support, made by our friends at Creative and Commercial along with Fulwell 73, really showed how invaluable this organisation is.
Entertainment for the evening was provided by world-famous ‘Mentalist’, Lior Suchard – who returned to the Chai Cancer Care Annual Dinner having taken to the stage two years previous. Having recently graced every ‘prime time’ American talkshow and wowed celebrity audiences around the world, it was amazing to see him back at Chai. He even did a small private performance afterwards for VIP guests and was very giving with his time for photographs – thank you Lior.
It was wonderful for us to see so many friends and clients at The Roundhouse, which was made to look even more special by Jeremy and the talented team at Muzika Productions, whilst it was a pleasure as always to work alongside Tony Page who ensured that every guest was looked after with the finest cuisine and hospitality.
Chai is an incredible organisation, we have been honoured to see what they do first hand. They do not charge for their services, simply caring for every patient and their family with love, so Chai’s continued activities are entirely reliant on donations, which can be made HERE. Without further a do, here are some of our favourite shots from a wonderful evening…
