We love being invited to photograph the events surrounding a wedding, as it’s a great opportunity to really tell the story of the week whilst getting to know some of the characters before the big day. We also love spending time with amazing families celebrating landmark moments. Furthermore, we’re quite partial to some hip-shaking traditional Sephardi music and delicious rustic modern Middle Eastern food. With all that in mind, Amanda and Blake were delighted to be at Jennie and Gideon’s beautiful Henna Party, held at The Hive in north London in the week running up to their spectacular wedding at The Savoy.

What an evening this was; really setting the tone of what was to come whilst embracing wonderful traditions and having masses of fun.

Ensuring the guests were musically entertained all evening was the one and only DJ Osher Dahan, a man who can make a hall in Edgware feel like Baghdad’s or Tehran’s hottest club night. Providing a beautiful spread of incredible vibrant food were Ziek and our friends at Shuka Catering – we love what they do and are grateful that they always ensure our team are looked after. Behind the video cameras were the talented team from Atmotion, and we’re excited to see what they’ve produced from such a wonderful event.
