We knew this day would be extremely special since the moment we heard it was happening! Having worked with Jennie for many years through her various roles with Langdon and Jewish Care, we couldn’t wait to photograph her wedding day at The Savoy, truly one of the most iconic hotels in the world. Fast forward to our amazing Engagement Shoot inside Fortnum and Mason, where Gideon proposed to his Bride-to-be, and then the vibrant traditional Henna party (see our blog from that evening HERE) the week of the wedding, and we were so excited for the main event. Jennie is kind, considerate, and with an amazingly dry sense of humour, and having spent some time with Gideon, we can see he shares those exact qualities too.

On the scene for ‘Team BE’ were none other than Amanda, Blake, Elicea, Joel and Kris, and we all felt very honoured to be there. It was such an electric day, with so many moments of emotion, of fun, and of surprise – it was our pleasure to attempt to beautifully capture as many of them as possible!

The wedding ran like clockwork thanks to our good friend Toastmaster Steve Warwick. Guests were entertained throughout the evening by the Gilev Showband, whilst the team from Atmotion Productions were on hand to create a cinematic movie of the big day. Our day ended in the stunning Beaufort Bar, shooting some portraits long after the dancing had stopped and guests had made their way home.

Such is the wonderful character of Jennie and Gideon, that they hand-delivered a variety of confectionary to our office (even accounting for our varied dietary requirements) just a couple of days after the wedding, with a note that said the following…

“Dear Yamit, Blake, Amanda, Elicea, Joel and Kris,

We just wanted to say thank you for all your help in the run up to our wedding, the team’s hard work on the day itself, and the beautiful photos we’ve seen so far. You managed to capture images of such a personal and special moment in our lives without being intrusive, and given us images we can treasure. You really make such a great team.
