Shabbat UK: The Great Challah Make

Yesterday evening our team of Amanda, Blake, Devon and Elicea were privileged to be the official photographers for the Great Challah Make, jointly hosted by our friends at Chazak and Seed.

Around 800 people packed into Allianz Park for this wonderful event, to fulfil the deed of making traditional Challah from scratch. This was more than just a ‘Bake Off’, this was a significant religious experience enriched by the presence of such a large group being together. As Rabbi Yitsy David so eloquently explained on the evening, the three strands of the Challah represent different sectors of the community, which are all platted together to become one.
