Today, 2nd November 2017, marks the 100th Anniversary of the Balfour Declaration – the 67 word letter which led to the establishment of the modern State of Israel. Written by Arthur Balfour to Lord Rothschild, it has been described as “the most important letter in modern Jewish history”.

Yesterday evening, we were honoured to be commissioned on behalf of Lord Jacob Rothschild to photograph ‘The Balfour 100 Lecture’ delivered by Simon Schama at The Royal Society, hosted by the Jewish Leadership Council. This was an incredibly emotive and interesting evening with many dignitaries in attendance, including Lord Rothschild and Lord Balfour.

This week our team will photograph two further VIP events to mark the Centenary of this historic letter, with prestigious guests attending from all around the world.
