A Positive Impression: ORT UK Annual Dinner 2017

By

On Tuesday evening our team were delighted to be the official photographers for the ORT UK Annual Dinner at Jumeirah Carlton Tower, for the third year running.

This wonderful organisation, working in conjunction with World ORT, strives to improve the lives of young people all around the world, through providing them with a relevant and practical education – giving them the tools to make the most of their lives. It is truly inspiring, in fact this year our Principle Photographer Blake ran the London Marathon to raise funds for ORT UK. The day-today work that ORT carry out was highlighted in a phenomenal appeal film made by Ronit Knoble of Fantastic Films.

The guests speaker for the evening was the remarkable Priti Patel, the Secretary of State for International Development. Incredibly, she commenced her address by reciting a line from the ‘Sh’ma’, one of the most important Jewish prayers which speaks of teaching lessons to your children. A beautiful classic music recital was played whilst guests received fine hospitality and cuisine from our friends at Tony Page Ltd. The grand Ballroom looks stunning with beautiful floral centrepieces by Flowers by Miri, and with full event production and styling from Uptown Events.

Later on in the evening guests were treated to hysterical entertainment by Rory Bremner, Britain’s foremost impressionist, who brought such personalities as Nigel Farage, Donald Trump and Boris Johnson to the stage.

A huge well done to Anthea and the whole team at ORT UK for organising such a successful event, all in aid of a tremendous cause. Here are some of our favourite images from a wonderful evening…
