We had the portrait shoot and the beautiful D’var Torah at The Village Shul, now it was time for the party! Lexie’s Bat Mitzvah saw the Crystal Room of the Mayfair Hotel utterly transformed by our friends at Uptown Events into a pink fairytale haven, complete with stilt-walking unicorns, hanging gems, a pastille-coloured balloon arch and ‘unicorn poop’ meringues.

Having already photographed Lexie’s brother Harry’s Bar Mitzvah last year, we knew we were in for a fun night full of witty speeches, great music, family love, fine food, and plenty of alcohol. We were proved correct, as between the hilarious speeches, guests partied the night away with Sensation Band on stage as shots circulated around the dance floor. Lexie’s speech in particular was utterly hysterical, delivered perfectly.

Benjy and Kat led the dancing so energetically whilst the talented team from Gavsy Creative Media were behind the video cameras and we’re sure they’ll produce a wonderful film of the evening. Thank you to Lisa, Adam and the whole gang at Uptown Events for looking after our team so well.
