Pure Energy: Natalie and Oliver’s Electrifying Wedding

By

Wow wow wow. When two dear friends meet each other, start to fall in love, and get married – it is an incredible thing to witness. To actually be photographing this special day at Parklands Quendon Hall, and to spend so much time in close proximity to them during these most sacred moments is a true honour. Natalie and Oliver are two forces of nature, loved and respected in equal measure by so many people.

They are both very kind, extremely considerate, hugely fun, have strong world-views and are both acutely aware of what is important in life. Throughout her professional life, Natalie (who looked truly stunning in her Morgan Davies Bridal dress) has been instrumental in so many worthwhile charities which help vulnerable people in society, whilst Oliver is a Rabbi who provides daily support and guidance to so many people – all in his own inimitable style. As a friend of both Natalie and Oliver individually, Blake was so honoured to be capturing all the love at their wedding, along with our photographers Amanda and Devon.

Blake’s day began in the ‘Dressing Room’ with Natalie and her family of females, who were being made up by Sarah Field and Kerri Kenner, with Gaby Grossman ensuring everyone’s hair was done to perfection. Meanwhile Amanda was with Oliver and his ‘Best People’ getting ready in the cottage nestled in the beautiful Parklands grounds. The musical Tisch was as boisterous as the Bedeken was emotive. The ceremony was particularly heartfelt, although not without moments of laughter and comedy. It was beautifully led by the perennially-incredible Rabbi Jonathan Wittenberg along with Jerusalem’s inspirational Rabbi Joel Levy.

This was a day of deep meaning, emotional moments, and huge fun; organised by Laura and the team at Uptown Events, whilst behind the video cameras were Leor Productions – we can’t wait to relive the day through their film as well as through our images. in a gorgeous space made even more gorgeous by Amber Rose florists, guests were served fine food from the lovely Celia Clyne Banqueting (thank you Celia and your team for making sure we were all fed too) whilst entertaining everyone on the dance floor was Levi Levin. Behind the decks later on were funky DJ duo The Smoking Guns.

Mazal Tov to Natalie and Oliver and their wonderful families, here are some of our favourite images…
