Skills for Life: Work Avenue Major Donor Dinner

By

Our team were privileged to photograph the Major Donor Fundraising Dinner for the exceptional Work Avenue, hosted by the delightful Philippa and Ricard Mintz at Millennium Hotel Mayfair in Grosvenor Square with our friends at Jam Events.

Guest speaker on the evening, fresh from running the London Marathon the pervious day, was the inspirational Nancy Doyle of Genius Within, and the star of BBC’s Employable Me. The ballroom looked beautifully elegant in no small part due to the consummate team at Tony Page alongside gorgeous decorations by Gabriella Shemtov Floral.

Work Avenue, with the powerhouse that is CEO Debbie Sheldon at the helm, is an amazing organisation.

They are a charity that aims to provide people with the essential lifelong skills to support themselves and their families, and offer ongoing support to those seeking employment, training for new roles, or looking to grow their small business. We have been honoured to photograph events and landmark moments for Work Avenue for many years now, from the launch of WE Hub to the rebrand, to many career networking events – we are always in awe of how they help those in need with dignity and personal attention – their clients are always individuals, never numbers or statistics.

Work Avenue are more than a charity and more than a professional organisation – they give with their hearts in the knowledge that their work can really change and improve the lives of others.

It was so lovely for us to see many of our close friends and clients in the room, supporting such a worth cause. Here are some of our favourite images from a fantastic evening…
