Jump Around: Louis Leads The Way
ByThere were moments during Louis’ Bar Mitzvah when the room shook, when we felt the sheer energy of a huge crowd having an incredible time, when we appreciated how truly lucky we are to do what we do. When Louis’ parents Emily and Jamie sat in our office all the way back in 2015 they promised a great party – what followed was utter carnage. On a personal note, it was great to see so many familiar faces and cherished clients in the room.
The crowd gathered on the dance floor amongst the haze and the lasers, cheering in anticipation of Louis’ entrance. His name was screamed on the microphone, the ‘House of Pain’ beat dropped and in he strutted to be swallowed up by hundreds of loved ones. The celebration went off and at that moment we truly understood the mamoth energy this party would throw at us. This. Was. Immense.
This was a night of bundles on the dance floor, drunken hugs, syringe shots, hilarious speeches and hands in the air. It was a night of love and friendship with so much warmth everywhere in the room. We loved every second of getting to know the Cooper family, and were so impressed with Louis’ self-assuredness and confidence.
Held at St. Pancras Renaissance and meticulously planned by Uptown Events, the room looked jaw-dropping and the music – with the talented DJ Jon Stone at the helm – had the crowd on their feet all night. Behind the video cameras were our great friends at Gavsy Media, who are always a pleasure to be around. ‘Shot Monitors’ were assigned to each table setting an immediate intention for a colossal amount of alcohol to be consumed, whilst the brilliant Pop Fusion Events were on hand with the glitter-tattoos… pun intended.
Mazal Tov again to Louis and his amazing family. Here are some of our favourite shots from the pre-shoot in synagogue, and then from a mega night in London.
Now onto the party…
