It Was A Hot One: Melanie and James at Rosewood London
ByOn one of the hottest days of the year, family and friends packed into the incredible Rosewood London to see Melanie and James become one. This was a day that had it all, starting in Melanie’s extremely relaxed hotel suite as preparations begun, with Rachel Singer-Clarke and the fabulous Severin Hubert taking care of hair and make up, before she stepped into her beautiful Suzanne Neville dress. However, the day soon turned into a festival of emotion, energy, fun, family and love… with the most inappropriate Best Men’s Speech we have ever heard.
As photographers, we spend lots of time with the most important people on the day – the Bride and Groom. It was a delight to document them both as they prepared and spent time with close ones. However, when they saw each other in the Bedeken room and then under the Chuppah, everything became clear – the love, the humour, and the chemistry between them was so beautiful and there for everybody to see. This was brought out even more by the stirring voice of Chazan Steven Leas and the beautiful words of Rabbi Lawrence and Rabbi Shlomo Farhi.
The entire day was planned to perfection by Lucy and the whole team at Just Seventy, who never fail to deliver something magical and are so dedicated to every detail. The Chuppah and Ballroom in particular looked spectacular with floral artistry from Wild About Flowers, whilst guests were entertained by The Soul Jets and DJ Sam Young – whose client list reads like a global ‘Who’s Who’. Impressive cuisine and service were provided throughout the day by Food Story. Next to our team, on the video cameras and creating a magical film of the day were Atmotion Productions. On the ground from our team were Blake, Devon and Kris… and we loved every second. It was wonderful to see so many friends and clients in the room.
Mazal Tov again to Melanie and James who were so wonderful to spend time with, and to both special families. Here are some of our favourite images from an action-packed and beautiful day…
