We’d been looking forward to this for a very long time. Having photographed Ella’s Bat Mitzvah three years ago and lots of family shoots for the amazing Caro family over the years, we knew we were in for a great party and looked forward to seeing Jacob, such a ‘mensch’ of a young man, become Bar Mitzvah.

After the Synagogue Call Up, and a fun family shoot on Jacob’s Birthday at The Grove, then came the night of celebration at Marriott Regents Park all planned to perfection by Rendezvous Events. With absolutely everything themed around Liverpool Football Club, an obsession shared by Jacob and his dad Danny, the room looked fantastic and provided a wonderful space in which to celebrate… which is exactly what everybody did!

With fine cuisine by the team at Philip Small, hilarious and very heartfelt speeches, a surprise football freestyle session with the extremely talented Colin Nell, the enigmatic Kevin Iszard entertaining with his velvety tones on the microphone and then none other than a Shaketastic Pop Up bar later in the evening, guests were treated to a memorable night. Behind the video cameras capturing every moment were the team from Atmotion Productions.

On a personal note, it was lovely to see so many friends in the room as guests including a couple of very esteemed photographers! We are such huge fans of the Caro family… their closeness, the way they celebrate in style, their appreciation of those around them. It’s a pleasure to work with such a wonderful family and we look forward to the next occassion!
