Waldorf Wedding: Emma and Nathan’s Beautiful Day

By

Emma and Nathan were married at the elegant Waldorf Hilton in central London, and our team were delighted to be on hand to capture every moment of such a joyous day.

Ever since meeting Emma and Nathan about their wedding a year ago, we’d been excited about their day – mainly because they both exude an easy-going warmth and friendliness which is so wonderful to be around. They’re so fun and so engaging that Nathan was even sending comedy videos to our team the week of the wedding, which gave us all a giggle in the office! We had also photographed them on the dance floor at previous weddings and knew that, if nothing else, they were rather photogenic!

Indeed from the Tisch to the Bedeken, from the Emma’s father Phil walking her down the aisle despite a recent health scare to Nathan’s brother David’s hilarious Best Man’s Speech, from the Chuppah to the amazing energy on the dance floor… it was meaningful and it was so much fun. We loved Emma’s mum Karen’s heartfelt speech and adored the proud expressions on the Grandparents’ faces. Our evening ended after the guests had gone home, with Emma and Nathan jumping over a railing in the hotel, which is easier said than done in a wedding dress after a few drinks! It was all to achieve a final ‘late night portrait’ so Emma and Nathan thank you for placing your trust in us throughout this process, we have been honoured to be a part of it.

We received a beautiful note from Emma and Nathan the day after the wedding, when they should have been basking in the glory of being married. Instead they were being gracious and wonderful, and e-mailing us! They wrote… “You guys have a magic ability to be almost invisible and blend into a scene perfectly. Everyone was complementing how amazing the photographers were; you were also a calm and reassuring presence on the day, we felt so at ease and truly enjoyed the experience with you. You were our best decision for our wedding day, thank you a million times over!”

The elegant venue was made even more beautiful with gorgeous florals from Flowers by Miri and stylish production by Creation Musical Services, whilst guests were treated to fine cuisine by the wonderful Celia Clyne Banqueting. As always the Creation Showband absolutely rocked the house, making sure the dance floor was full all night and entertaining on a mass scale. It was a pleasure to be alongside the wonderful Michelle from Ritzy Events who was running the day so expertly behind-the-scenes, whilst behind the video cameras were Stefan and the team from Manchester’s YSD Media.

Mazal Tov again to the wonderful Emma and Nathan and their lovely families, from B-LAK-E and the team. Here are some of our favourite images from an immense day…
