I recently travelled to Malta for 10 days, primarily to explore the lovely island of Gozo. Gozo is a small rural island with a population of around 30,000, and the Gozitan people are some of the friendliest I’ve ever met. When on commission, I ordinarily carry two Nikon D3s with large professional lenses, along with a utility belt holding additional lenses, flashes, batteries and remote controls… a lot of kit and a hefty weight!

I made the decision to take pictures using only an iPhone as a camera, whilst only shooting and editing through the ever popular Instagram. Creativity is often born from limitation, shooting this way means the images are always square in shape, and the user is stripped of the ability to zoom in or out. Some of these pictures were posted to our Instagram account, do follow us there under the username BlakeEzraPhoto.
