We’re not too sure what exactly to say about Sheena and Jamie’s wedding at Rosewood London, apart from that we were so glad to have been involved. Sheena is Indian, so there was a traditional Hindu ceremony; Jamie is Jewish, so he smashed a glass in front of the Mandap; it’s nearly Christmas, so Santa Claus was on hand for some particularly unique moments. This day had it all!
We arrived at Rosewood London (one of our favourite venues on earth) at 08:00, to be bright and early for Sheena’s Mandvho ceremony – a pre ceremony for the Bride’s family before they welcome the Groom and his family to the wedding. Our day finished at about half past midnight – sixteen and a half hours after arriving, as we shared hugs with this awesome couple on the dancefloor. There were so many laughs, smiles, ceremonies, costume changes, dance-moves, beatboxing, blow-up dolls, great food and other special details… but we should let our images do the talking.
Keeping guests dancing all night were the brilliant Music Box Live, who featured none other than Kelle Le Roc and a special guest appearance from the ‘Jewmaican’, otherwise known as the supremely talented Moni Tivony. It was a pleasure to work with Richard and the team from Richer Productions, based in Manchester, who we know will create a great video of the day. It was also great to work with Sacha and her team at Rosewood London, and we look forward to being back again soon.
To the wonderful Sheena and Jamie, and to their families – congratulations, Mazal Tov, thanks for having us! Here are some of our favourite images…
