Lucy and Tim: Love and Laughter at The Grove
ByLucy and Tim were married in the summer sunshine in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at The Grove, London’s Country Estate. This is a venue we know and love, and indeed was where Lucy always dreamt of getting married. Our team of Amanda, Blake, Elicea and Kris were fortunate to witness such a heartfelt day.
We gained a flavour of just how loved the Bride and Groom were from the Tisch and the Bridal Room – both of which were absolutely packed before the ceremony with guests wanting to congratulate Lucy and Tim, and to share as much of their day with them as possible. This is an intensely sweet couple, two pure souls who always want to do the best for those around them. They are also so magnificently in love that they barely broke eye contact from the moment they saw each other in the Bedeken – and that eye contact invariably brought out a beaming smile on each of their faces. It was a joy to watch, they truly spread their happiness to every guest at the wedding, and we hope our photographs show this.
The ceremony itself was held outdoors, and was very special indeed. It was officiated with great depth, heartfelt moments and wonderful humour by Rabbi Kormornick, who is none other than Tim’s brother. The tone was set for an extremely personal ceremony, with moments of stirring vocal talent by Chazan Jonny Turgel, who we are fortunate to hear on a regular basis.
It is always a delight for our team to be in the company of Toastmaster Steven Warwick, a man who smiles brightly, communicates brilliantly, and knows so much about the inner-workings of any event. Throughout the day guests enjoyed cuisine and fine beverages, including a wonderful array of canapés, by our friends at Philip Small Kosher Caterers. During the evening the ever-impressive Creation Showband ensured that guests were entertained from beginning to end, bringing a combination of traditional Jewish music, old classics and UK Garage to the stage and the dance floor. Behind the video cameras and drones were Leor and Shimon from Leor Productions, and we are certain that they’ll create a magical film of the day.
Mazal Tov again to Lucy and Tim, and both wonderful families. We were privileged to be with you and thank you so much for trusting our team to capture your wedding. Here are some of our favourite images from a truly heart-warming day…
