A Beautiful Day: Miriam and David’s London Wedding
ByOur team of Amanda, Blake, Leela and Zach were at Finchley United Synagogue to photograph the truly authentic, beautiful, spiritual and energetic wedding of Miriam and David. The day itself oozed energy, generated by a special couple in the centre of everything. From the almost tribal, ethereal chanting in the men’s Tisch beforehand, to the moment Miriam and David saw each other to the first time at the Bedeken, the positive energy grew and never let up.
The ceremony was led wonderfully and personably by Rabbi Harris, with important elements also being led by others close to Miriam and David. After the ceremony, guests went downstairs and partied the night away to the amazing sounds of Eli Tamir and his brilliant band. Guests were plentifully fed by Celia Clyne and her excellent team, whilst it was a pleasure as always to work alongside consummate toastmaster, Steven Warwick. A special mention must be made of Miriam’s speech. In a world where it’s becoming increasingly prevalent for the Bride to say a few words on the microphone, Miriam’s was one of the most sidesplittingly funny speeches we’ve ever heard. Bravo!
For us personally, it was so lovely to see so many familiar faces in the room, not only old friends and previous clients, but also couples who have commissioned us to shoot their weddings in the near future. We wish a massive Mazal Tov to Miriam and David, and both their families. Here are a few of our favourite images from a magnificent day…
